hurricanes and tornadoes: table
This table shows the difference between two strong types of wind, hurricanes and tornadoes.
Hurricanes have a higher minimum wind speed of 74mph and only 40mph for tornadoes; but a lower maximum speed. In classification scales both have their own classification system; hurricanes classified by Saffir – Simpson’s c1-c5 scale and tornadoes scaled by Fujita f0-f5. A hurricane’s duration is, on average, one week and it’s always more than the tornadoes whose duration is mostly a few minutes or sometimes up to a few hours. The average width of hurricanes is greater than the tornadoes width usually. Hurricanes average number per year is a hundred but tornadoes occur twenty times per year. To predict a hurricane you need about two to three days but tornadoes happen suddenly and you can predict them it only twenty minutes before they occur. Tornadoes usually start over land and hurricanes starts over warm oceans.
In brief hurricanes can be predicted so we can prepare for them before they come but tornadoes occur suddenly and when they hit they destroy everything in thier way.

reflection 3 : Argument essay
In argument the writer should discuss the different opinions and state the problems briefly.
Firstly in the introduction I should start by stating the problem and why the problem is important to the society.
In the second paragraph I show the opposite side and give the other opinions which say that the smoking is a human right and that it should be legal because smoking helps them to relax.
Thirdly state the personal viewpoint of the case by giving the reasons that support your own viewpoint about the problem.
In conclusion you put the two opinions together then represent your view fairly.

smoking argument
At the end of the 15th century the tobacco was discovered. People thought that smoking was a good thing and a whole new smoking culture started , but then scientists discovered that smoking causes lung cancer and that made the governments start to put some restrictions on the smoking and they forced the companies to issue a health warning.
There are many arguments going on about the personal privacy and the freedom; they say that it is their lives and it is a personal right if they want to smoke in private because it is their money and their own health. Another argument is about the smoking and that it helps the smokers to get relaxed and that it is useful if the smokers smoke a certain amount.
In my opinion non-smokers have their rights as well because if they smoked in public the others who do not smoke will get affected also because of the passive smoking and that causes some health problems for them and this thing infringes on the non-smokers’ rights. The other argument is about the relaxing effect of smoking and I fully disagree with them because the effect is short term but in the long term they will suffer heart and lung problems which makes their lives too sad and tragic.
The smokers have their own reasons and they, for sure, have rights but in my opinion the freedom to smoke is not an individual right because it is a slow suicide and because the tax payers in any society have to pay the treatment price if he gets sick.
